I’m planning on trapping coyotes this fall. It’s been 20 years since I last trapped. Can I use the earth anchors or would it be best to use the re-bar stakes? I’ve cleaned and dipped my #3 Victors, they still have the big ring on the end of the chains. What do you recommend for fastening to the anchor? (flat stake swivels, split rings, etc).
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time.

I used to run rebar for my coyote sets then I found the disposable stake and haven't looked back.  The biggest thing about the disposable is making sure that you have one that is suited to your ground conditions.  Unless you are in very soupy ground or sugar sand, 1 disposable stake will hold coyotes fine.  It is good to check them after a catch to be sure that they didn't jack it up.  To fasten to the anchor I would cut the big ring off the end of the chain and run an inline swivel, universal or cc super swivel, and just use the j-hooks from the swivel to attach the chain to the anchor.
